HOURLY RANGE, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE $23.50 - $28/HOUR

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service Excellence:
Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
Provide prompt and efficient service, taking and accurately processing orders.
Assist customers in selecting products and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
Food and Beverage Preparation:
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
Assist in the assembly of bread service and other food items according to Backhaus standards.
Ensure all food and beverage offerings are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS) Operations:
Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately.
Maintain proper cash drawer procedures and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
Café Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable café environment, including dining areas, serving stations, and beverage equipment.
Monitor and restock supplies as needed, ensuring a seamless flow of operations.
Customer Engagement:
Engage with customers, creating a positive and memorable experience during their visit.
Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and seek opportunities to exceed their expectations.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices to maintain a safe and sanitary café environment.
Comply with health regulations, including handwashing, food handling, and equipment cleaning protocols.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work cooperatively with other café team members and bakery staff to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.
Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the bakery.
